La Fabriquerie

No more, no less than the best delicatessen in Marseille, Marine Crousnillon, Sandi Despierres and Pierre Giannetti’s La Fabriquerie is brimming with oenological gems, with a tendency towards the natural! You can expect a sharp (but not cheap) selection of wines, with a focus on southern terroirs (Jean-Christophe Comor, Jérôme Maillot, Nicolas Carmarans…) and more distant ones too (Alexandre Bain, Vincent Fleith, Alice and Olivier de Moor…). A barbecue with friends, a seafood platter in Malmousque, a picnic at Vallon des Auffes (with dishes prepared by La Fabriquerie!), no matter the occasion, you can trust Sandi to set the bar quite high: Rozeta, a Corbières from Maxime Magnon (€28.80 a bottle), a Mâcon-Villages from Philippe Valette (€22), a Roussillon pét’ nat’ from Riberach (€21.80)… // A.A.

The bullet-proof bottle: A Savagnin ouillé from Guillaume Overnoy (€31.20).
