Don’t be fooled by the sugary sweet name of this shop: Nominoé Guillebot, the talented wine scout who honed her craft in the juicy cellars of Lyle’s, Septime and La Mercerie, has more than just highly-drinkable reds in her delightful wine shop. The solo sommelier oversees an imposing glass and wood-framed wine cabinet, big enough for you to slip inside and choose your bottle. The day we went, we considered her premium collection of bottles for our next apéro: Virose, a gewurztraminer from Léo Dirringer (€17), Les Plumes, a hard-to-come-by Aligoté from the Rougeot Père et Fils estate in Burgundy (same price); Les Lèches, an Ardèche white blend from the Domaine du Mazel (€29); a rare cabernet-syrah combo from master winemaker Claude Courtois (€41)… All of which can be paired (in addition to a €8 corkage fee for popping open a bottle in-house) with Italian anchovies marinated in oil and lemon (€7), deviled eggs with shallots (€7) and a tomato tonnato plate (€9), served up from the small kitchenette. // Folayemi Abimbola
THE BULLET-PROOF BOTTLE: An Aligoté aged in Saint-Aubin by Julien Altaber of the Domaine Sextant (€24 a bottle).
