There’s mixing and there’s mixologizing… The audio-lover’s bistro Sonore kills two birds with one cocktail shaker on Rue Saint-André! In the sleek space (a white tiled bar, dark woodwork, tube-legged barstools), a collection of almost entirely French wines (Lori Haon, Olivier Legranger, Patrick Bouju, etc.) rubs shoulders with vintage records, which the vinylphile Victor Mottez spins – when he’s not busy shaking up cocktails with his partner Robin Cousin… Some of their creations include an inventive Tangerine Sour (tequila, honey, lime and tangerine juice), or a classic Pornstar Martini (vodka, passion fruit liqueur, vanilla syrup and lime juice), €12 each. From the elevated kitchen, César Leruste sends out masterfully-made small plates: labneh with citrus fruits drizzled in olive oil (€9); mackerel tartare dressed in shrimp oil (€15); asparagus corn dogs with a harissa-yogurt sauce (€13); and a tiramisu that’ll keep the good vibes going (€9). // Line Dema
