1922? No, 2022! Just a little over a century later, the opening of this bar run by Cleopatra Vandewalle and Ruben Patoor (the former bosses of Café Théatre) marked the start of the Roaring Twenties, celebrated with their well-calibrated cocktails. Maximalist mirrors, upholstered seating, crimson neon lights and suggestive urinals… The Milanese flair of the owners is rivaled only by their taste for excellent mixologisms: sweet Shimokitazawa (Geisha sake, raspberry and bay leaf distillate, white peach and jasmine soda, €16), a spicy Knock Knock Cumin (Johnnie Walker Black Label, carrot, cinnamon, orange and, of course, cumin, same price), or an excellent Nogroni Zéro (Opius amaro, crodino rosso, orange zest, €12).
