What do Georgia, Slovakia and Hungary have in common? Vinogradoff! In an old bookshop down Ajuinlei, Muscovite Victor Sorokin has set up this wine shop bar, complete with original bookshelves and a few colorful round tables and chairs. On the menu, you’ll find natural or biodynamic wines from Eastern Europe, as well as bottles from Belgium, Denmark and Austria. And served by the glass? Four different wines by color, from different regions of course, or an iced tea for the alcohol averse. Feeling peckish? The choice is simple but effective, with canned Sancho’s nuts or bags of SUPERBON chips. // Kiko Zushi
THE BULLET-PROOF BOTTLE: A dry and mineral Hungarian white from Somlói Vándor, made from the juhfark grape variety, with notes of lime blossom and quince (€8 a glass, €19 a bottle).
