THE STORY: Chosen as Le Fooding Guide’s Best Hallucination of 2012, the La Grenouillère restaurant is not the only attraction at this UFO-like hotel designed by Patrick Bouchain (lLieu Unique in Nantes, Condition Publique in Roubaix…), with its wild wooden huts and experimental rooms to kick back in. Rooms from €140 to €200, huts from €240 to €280.
TOILETRIES: Keiji (soap, shampoo, body lotion), loofah (not in the huts).
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Chef’s breakfast (€22.50) with rice pudding, fruit salad, homemade brioche and bread, freshly squeezed orange juice.
MINI-BAR: Nespresso, Neo teas, waffles, mineral water, Patrick Font fruit juices and local artisanal beers in a cooler.
LITTLE LUXURY: The wood-burning stoves that heat the huts, and the mirrored bathtub (placed inside a trunk!) to heat up the ambiance…
