THE STORY: After eleven years spent running a safari lodge in Kenya, Nigel moved to the Aveyron valley with his partner Claire, a former digital marketer with a love of horticulture and ecology. Together, they took over Le Camp, a luxury resort composed of tents and yurts on stilts, located in a beautiful wooded landscape. Artisan wooden furniture, solar-powered lighting, hammocks, bathrooms with interior/exterior bathrooms…. for an Out of Africa feel – minus the lions but plus wild boars! — that is sure to win over glampers. LITTLE LUXURY: The beautiful (20-meter-long) pool that’s filtered naturally by plants and surrounded by a small pebble beach.
