Believe it or not: this famous corner kebab joint beside the majestic KMSK has been feeding Antwerp locals for more than twenty-five years. Jozef Chacham and his son Sean continue a family tradition of home cooking that goes well beyond your average kebab shop, spread across two floors and spilling out onto a generous terrace. Must-tries? Pork or chicken shawarma, or even spicy merguez stuffed into pita bread; the Finjan mix if decision-making isn’t your strong suit; fried halloumi fingers with tzatziki and dolma; plus bright, tangy fattoush loaded with crispy pita and tahini sauce. Not forgetting the selection of house-made sauces, including onion, coriander, baba ghanoush and pikpik. · Ross Beef
