It’s always a fine day on Rue Lesbroussart, especially since Nuage appeared alongside Sœurs, Rebel and Grain, the second of its name. A bright spell away from Place Flagey, Rox (who also runs Popotes a few numbers down) and her sidekick Vahé are making their good taste shine, with a little help on the design side from the duo behind BedrossianServaes (bright fabrics, fresh flowers, wonderfully soft lighting), and from chef Luka Greiner (Chez Luma) over in the kitchen. And the latter’s menu sure pampers appetites, with dishes like: polenta croquettes with a splash of chili mayo; a tantalizing duo of pitas – pulled pork, smashed eggs and honey mustard sauce for one, and roasted zucchini and carrots with a creamy sauce for the other; nothing less than the best shrimp croquette in Brussels, made by Fernand Obb; and kumquat ricotta ice cream from Pepe’s, served with a pistachio biscuit and salted caramel. As for the bread? It’s from Mains! // Lina Megalinia

Cool cocktails, like the spritz with Bongiorno Aperitivo and Malvasia spumante (from €9 to €13.50, three for the price of two during happy hour), Nuage hard cider made in collaboration with Breton cidermakers Nicol (€5 for 100 ml, €19 per bottle) and some beers from the Flora brewery (€6.50 for 330 ml).
