Vinyl’s back, baby! And if you’re a lover of vinyl and cocktails, you’ll want to head straight over to Discobar, a minimalist spot in the 19th arrondissement imagined by Gautier Honorez and Lucas Boulanger, two dudes who are crazy about music, and who used to work at the MOB Hôtel in Saint-Ouen. They performed a small miracle in this tiny space by fitting in a groovy dancefloor with neon lights and two turntables. There, all of you amateur DJs are invited to spin a few records and get bodies moving, but not without signing up beforehand on their website or Instagram. As for the drinks, you’ll find well-shaken classic cocktails (€9-11), Camden pale ale (€4.50 for a half-pint) or Alsatian white wine from Achillée (€6 a glass), which you can grab at the corrugated iron bar with, for example, a flavorful slice of ham and arugula focaccia (€7). // Paul Hackett
