In Zwalm, the duo have transformed a sprawling, wood-clad house into an oversized retreat for frazzled city folk. Their credo? Minimalist decor, raw materials and an XXL living room wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, beyond which a hectare of garden stretches out, with the occasional goat wandering into view… After hiking or biking the surrounding trails, there’s nothing like sinking into a cozy bed facing the meadows, with each room boasting an en-suite bathroom and private terrace.
