THE STORY: It’s in the Nièvre, in the middle of a verdant meadow, 4 hectares in size, where a river sprinkled with water lilies flows, that Cyril learned to fish when he was a little boy. Right near this 18th century miller’s house, connected to the mill, that he restored and converted into a bed and breakfast with Myrtille, his mama. For the moment, only the main building has guest rooms, whose contemporary and minimalist décor pairs nicely with the marble fireplaces and exposed beams. On the agenda: breakfast in the shade of the weeping willow tree, fishing, siesta in the hammock, some reading, barbecue, tennis (5 km away) and kitchen available… In short, a true haven to share with… the house’s four donkeys! Double rooms €65 (+ €25 per each additional person).
TOILETRIES: Soap, shower gel, shampoo.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Included with coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, jams, viennoiseries…
LITTLE LUXURY: A canoe and some bikes graciously made available to guests.
