NUMBER OF ROOMS: 8 private houses (for 2 to 5 people)
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round
THE STORY: Liz from Ireland and Corentin from Brittany started redoing the family farm, originally a place to lodge friends, before seriously considering opening a gîte. Fourteen years and four kids later, they now rent out the eight little houses spread out over a remote hamlet. Ten minutes from the road that leads to the beaches, these extremely cozy gîtes (vintage objects, industrial or Scandinavian furniture, Orla Kierly wallpaper, craft furniture, linen sheets…) with private gardens are all decorated differently. And best of all, they each have a wood-burning oven ready to be fired up! Starting at €82 a night (two night minimum stay).
TOILETRIES: Bring your own.
INTERNET: Free (wifi).
BREAKFAST: €10, upon reservation, with hot drinks, bread and/or viennoiseries, brioche, crepes of the day, scones, homemade cakes or shortbreads, homemade jam, fruit juice, yogurts and fresh fruit. All loaded up in a basket and left on your doorstep. In the summer, they only offer this service on Friday and Saturday mornings.
MINI-BAR: No, but there is tea and coffee available in the gîtes.
LITTLE LUXURY: The small cabana, where you can wash, dry and iron your laundry and find useful regional guidebooks.
