Tucked away behind Crec’h-Héry, a new beach shack is proudly flying the street food flag on Tresmeur Beach! At her blue and white illustrated spot, the young private chef and ceramicist Alexia Bras deals out mouthwatering, seasonal, organic beauties that have been extremely locally sourced (bread from Trébeurden, chocolate and coffee from Morlaix, charcuterie from Bégard, seafood caught by a neighbor, vegetables from Trégastel). From this selection of locavore delicacies that have been presented with care on the plate, consider the following: skate caught by Jérôme Templier off Île Grande, tucked into a plump viennoise bun spread with mayonnaise; hay-smoked ham with butter and peppered cow’s milk tomme cheese, sprinkled with cornflowers; goat cheese from Lann Ar Mor in Trébeurden, with honey, walnuts from her garden and toasted rosemary; homemade chips with an herbaceous dipping sauce; gooey dark chocolate and cacao nib cookies; rustic ginger-cardamon ice cream from La Bergeronnette… Make sure to dip your toes into the sand at the nearby beach, or grab a seat at one of the available tables while eating off plates she made herself in her studio at the Manoir de Trovern, glazed with wood ash. // Tosca Billaud
