THE STORY: A finance engineer by trade with a passion for textile design, Laurence Gautier has found a way to make a profit from all of her savoir-faire, by opening a small, stylish auberge in the Baie de Somme. The perfect place for relaxing with a panoramic view or throwing on a pair of boots for fishing low tide. Rooms from €70 to €240 a night.

LITTLE LUXURY: 17 of the 25 rooms have a view of the bay!
