NUMBER OF ROOMS: 35 rooms
CLOSED ANNUALLY: From January 7th to February 1st, 2019
THE STORY: It began as a desire for a “Hotel New Hampshire” à la John Irving amongst lettered Belgian friends, and twenty-three years later, it’s still standing, “like a family home, with staff to wait on you,” facing the sea… A paradise for the little ones and their parents: dormitory for children aged 4-14 (accommodation for 10), game room, shovels for the beach, just the right amount of seaside décor, sublime terrace with seafood, a view that will astound you… And what’s more, it’s ecologically responsible. Double rooms from €80 to €143.
TOILETRIES: Ecover soap and body wash.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: €13, with Samovar teas from Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, Maillard artisanal fromage blanc and churned butter, Madame Defacque’s artisanal jams, tomme cheese from Picardie, local free-range eggs, Laurent Macaux’s Baie de Somme honey.
LITTLE LUXURY: The 33 room, to have a look at the sea from the bed.
