THE STORY: Always wanted to sleep in a cabin in the woods? It’s a childhood dream come true at this spectacular eight-hectare estate in the Ardennes. Designed by entrepreneur Olivier Berghmans, the bespoke service from Les Cabanes de Rensiwez makes for a larger-than-life stay. We’re truly spoilt for choice: there are wooden dens galore, to share with your better half or as a tribe, located right in the middle of the forest atop a hill, near the Ourthe River or on a rocky ridge with breathtaking views. As for the nitty-gritty, they all come equipped with a cozy bed, a state-of-the-art kitchenette, a highly-optimized bathroom and some even with a Nordic bath. The hardest part will be leaving this wild paradise! Double cabins starting at €150 per night, minimum two-night stay. // Mado Réassouet
