Floral wallpaper, a Moleskin banquette, fringed light fixtures, a nostalgic ambiance…. Welcome to the long, narrow restaurant from Rémi Aboudiab, one of the creators behind the vegan spot Pickles, which is located on the same street. Inside, chef Anna Barbagelata stews up vegetarian and occasionally vegan market cooking every day, sourced extremely locally. Take the day we went during the summer heatwave as an example: a life-giving watermelon gazpacho with basil oil and a cucumber-watermelon brunoise; a raw tomato stuffed with tofu, slow-roasted tomatoes and a buckwheat, zucchini and star anise salad. // Sofia Sétif
