This Chinese spot is for people with voracious appetites! The somber décor contrasts with the bubbling hot pots, the house specialty served on hot plates built into the tables. After the delicious garlicky jellyfish and cucumber salad, spicy pork ears or konjac vermicelli noodles, next dig in to the star of the show: hot pot! Even in individual servings, they’re a true feast composed of thin slices of beef, lamb, beef tripe, cabbage, vegetable beignets, tofu, lotus root, noodles and chrysanthemum leaves, etc. Cook-them-yourself in a flavorful broth of your choice (satay, spicy, lamb…) with a sprinkling of cilantro and chives, before diving in and slurping up. For dessert: green tea, sesame or yuzu ice cream mochi. // O.D.

FEELING THIRSTY? Tsingtao beer (€3.60 for 330 ml), litchi juice (€3 for 250 cl), soy milk (€3.50 for 330 ml).

PRICE: Set menu €8.90 to €12.80 (lunch), appetizers €4.80 to €10.80, hot pots €10.80 to €38.80, desserts €3.20 to €7.50.
