In their little shop (a cinderblock bar, metal rafters, a poster signed by Zidane), Tim and Tom’s Breizh galettes will certainly win you over! Calvados and buckwheat are in their blood, and the two accomplices make their bilig hotplate go Ro(u)nd and Ro(u)nd. The night we went, of the roughly 15 buckwheat options, we opted for a very beautiful Bellême filled with fig chutney, goat cheese and walnuts, an Omaha Beach (egg, bacon, cheddar and slow-cooked onions), and the classic ham, egg and Comté galette – all three of which were crispy around the edges and tender on the inside… Before dessert: a buckwheat crepe with chocolate sauce gobbled up in mere seconds, and a tarte-tatin-style crepe for a final sweet note. // Louise Delange
