Good beans, or nothing at all! That could be the motto of Antoine Cornil (who we’d already noticed at My Little Cup), a veritable expert of coffee blends, who’s busy brewing things up at Bouche, a coffee shop with two counters, wooden banquette seating, caramel-toned barstools and tropical plants. Grab a seat and discover the intricacies of specialty coffee, which never stops changing here, depending on the months and the moods of the barista, who sources his beans from roasters from all over. All of which is available as pour-overs, lattes, flat whites and more, served in a smiley Frizbee ceramic cup, which can be sipped in the company of a homemade sweet treat if you are so inclined, like a hearty apple-caramel scone or a cinnamon roll. FYI: there’s a second location on Rue Froissart. // Aline Flamme
