All hands on deck on the Corchiche! This seafood joint designed by Georges Mohammed-Chérif (the boss of Buzzman agency) and Léo Corcelli (Tomorrow Food) is turning heads in the neighborhood. That’s where Christophe Inglese, Marseille’s version of Vincent Cassel, serves grannies from Malmousque alongside bobos looking for their briny fix. Eyeballed on the tiled countertop: glistening Atlantic bonito, local red porgy, sea urchins from Galicia, scallops from Dieppe… All that at the same time? You can even order a presidential lunch with a seafood platter that can be eaten in house, or savor a few small plates, like bonito sashimi or scallop carpaccio. // Victoria Bout
THE HIDDEN GEM: A dozen Vars oysters raised by the Giol family (€36), perfect for cooling off during the heatwave with a glass of natural white wine.
