Passionate about cheese and good wine in equal measure, Maxence Dumont (a former financier at Deutsche Bank) and Mathieu Tardy (a former security director for a hotel in Geneva) were unable to choose between their two loves! So they opened up this dual spot in 2021, a true paradise for gourmets, where you can pair your farm-fresh chavignol cheese with a bottle of Chassagne-Montrachet from Benoît Ente (€145), your roquefort with Grain, a pinot noir produced by Marie-Thérèse Chappaz (€85), or your farmerhouse gouda with Vieilles Vignes, a Roussillon red from Gauby (€37.50). All of which is supervised by the lovely owners (for the wines), and by the rock star of cheese maturation, Alain Michel (for the dairy). Other provisions we noticed on their shelves include some mouthwatering Bellota-Bellota ham and yogurts from La Ferme d’Epagny. // Gwen Jacquère

THE BULLET-PROOF BOTTLE: Vitis Beatitatem 2018, a red blend from the Domaine Jean David (€15).
