THE STORY: With its stonewalls and wooden tiles, you’d almost think you were in Heidi’s chalet! But you’d be mistaken… This century-old Savoyard farm is equipped with a modern spa, a sauna, a massage room and a paradisiacal pool all located in the former stables. Meanwhile taking refuge in the various barns, the bedrooms, with their shingled walls, are cozy and refined. A special mention for the 100-square-meter family suite with both a balcony and a fireplace. The chalet is 8 kilometers from the ski station, but the owners take care of everything: ski rentals, ski lesson reservations, hiking guides, picnic baskets… Rooms starting at €380 for two people with half-board, free for kids under 5. Private rentals of the chalet are also possible.

INTERNET: Free (wifi).
BREAKFAST: Included, with Savoie cake, brioche, bread, croissants, chocolate croissants, raw cheeses (Reblochon, tomme, Beaufort), Savoie ham, eggs, homemade jam, coffee, tea, homemade yogurts, cereals. Dinner is also included.
MINI-BAR: No, but there’s a Nespresso machine in the Aravis suite.
LITTLE LUXURY: Taking off your winter coat to tan on the heated terrace in the winter, by the big brazier heater!
