Cultivating grapes or minds? It’s all the same at this shop filled with graphic novels and bottles of vino in Pont-l’Abbé: a true cross between a wine shop and a bookstore! The woman who never turns down a glass of wine Adèle Arvieux (ex-Dialogues in Brest) and her winemaking partner Nicolas Prieur (who used to work as a lumberjack in Touraine) select the bubbly and wines: Frileuse du Romorantin produced by Le Clos du Tue-Boeuf, which pairs wonderfully with La ferme de l’enfant loup by Morvan, Percio and Delpeche; Le droit du sol by Davodeau is best perused while sipping on Les Roches 2011 by Guillaume Lenoir; Kéké (Descombes in the Beaujolais) goes nicely with Musée (by Chabouté, published by Vents d’Ouests)…
