THE STORY: After years of crisscrossing France for business, Pierre-Antoine Ortu accepted the obvious: his beloved Picardie region was a hotel desert. A man of action, he therefore decided to team up with the architecture studio A19 in order to imagine a place that would satisfy all his desires: better than a simple hotel, he opened a true coastal B&B! After a year of renovations, you can now find him perched up on the Ault cliffs, running La Brise du Large, with a small garden, a luminous living room heated by a wood-burning stove, five ultra-sleek bedrooms (light hardwood floors, immaculate walls) and incredible views of the English Channel and the Bay of Somme. Want a tip? Get a group together and privatize the entire house anywhere between September 1st and June 15th. Double rooms starting at €115, entire house starting at €350.

INTERNET: Wifi.
BREAKFAST: Included, with coffee or tea, viennoiseries, freshly baked bread, butter, jams, eggs (from the house’s hens), cheeses, yogurt, cakes…
