THE STORY: With its large olive green windows, dolce-vita-esque garden and pool surrounded by potted plants, columns and shrubs, there’s a Call Me by Your Name vibe to this mas farmhouse owned by Alison Pass and Costas Diamantopoulos. It took less than three years for the dentist and naval architect, who love the south of France, to turn this old Pagnolesque residence into a small corner of paradise. It now boasts three cottages with pastel colors, mouldings, canopies and toile de Jouy fabrics, scattered across the garden, along with a suite in the main house, equipped with a pewter bathtub and a private terrace… There’s enough space to sleep a dozen guests in total, unless you’d rather rent out the entire property and invite up to eighteen lucky guests – and enjoy these picture-perfect colors brought to life to the song of the cicadas. Cottages and suite starting at €200 a night.
TOILETRIES: Maison Caulières natural soap, shampoo and conditioner.
BREAKFAST: Tea, coffee, bread, viennoiseries, salted butter and homemade jams are available in the shared kitchen, where everyone is invited to make themselves at home.
