Two spots, two different vibes! Though they’ve been selling the best wines from the Rhone Valley on Rue du Collège-du-Roure since 2008, Laurent Mersier and Stéphane Gilbert wanted more from life, so they opened a new boutique just a stone’s throw away, dedicated to all kinds of spirits – whiskeys, rums, gins, liquors… But let’s get back to the first location, where the duo tirelessly compile a collection of regional finds (a Condrieu from Louis Cheze for €39.30, a Tavel from the Château de Manissy for €13.95…), while allowing themselves a few excursions into the Beaujolais, Burgundy, Alsace or even Champagne regions. Feeling thirsty? There’s a rotating selection of around fifteen wines that you can taste in house, plus snacks to take to go for chic apéros – caviar d’Aquitaine from Neuvic, olive oil from the Domaine de Trévallon… // Raoul Taburin

The bullet-proof bottle: Bout d’Zan, a Côtes-du-Rhône red from Le Mas de Libian (€12.80).
