THE STORY: In their stunning ivy-covered home dating back to 1765, Antoine Le Court-Chedevergne and Julia Naar decided to open a guesthouse. After a few months of renovations, these cool kids of the Jura natural wine scene (Les Valseuses) now welcome up to six guests at a time in their adjoining retro-bohemian apartment, complete with exposed wooden beams and old stone walls. The space includes two bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a cozy living room, plenty of vintage furniture and – best of all – a private garden overlooking the neighboring vegetable farm. It’s the perfect countryside escape located in a picture-perfect village, surrounded by forest trails and wine cellars where you can sample the owners’ very own cuvées. Guesthouse staring at €120 a night.
