THE STORY: Hamptons ambiance, very Ralph Lauren, very 1980s at Flavia and José De Mello’s place (they speak Portuguese). Very white, very blue, dotted with red and American flags, the hotel offers up really cozy rooms (from €114 to €202) for families that want a view of the sea. In fact, if it’s full, try the neighboring Hôtel des Ormes, with its cottage ambiance.

INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: €13, with Bonne Maman jams, Kellog’s cereals, cold buffet (ham, charcuterie, cheeses) and hot buffet (bacon, sausage, omelet)…     
LITTLE LUXURY: The hotel has a « fishing by foot » offer, where they will loan you the material and an advised itinerary for getting the best catch.
