NUMBER OF ROOMS: 92 bedrooms
CLOSED ANNUALLY: Open all year round

THE STORY: Cyril Aouizerate, founder of the vegan fast food chain MOB and cofounder of the first Mama Shelter hotels, has opened the MOB Hôtel. The flagship location can be found in a former office building, behind the Puces de Clignancourt in the middle of Saint-Ouen, just 800 meters from the future Mairie de Saint-Ouen metro station on line 14. The result? A very Brooklyn-esque feel (red brick façade, windows framed in black metal) with two rooftop terraces and a big central patio where they do open-air film screenings and host foodtrucks, etc. The goal behind the project? To bring Parisians, clients and entrepreneurs together (the Kolkhozita space is providing free office space for around twenty startups from Seine-Saint-Denis), making MOB a multifaceted space where you can read a book, eat organic and local, work, meditate, garden, hang out and, why not, even sleep! Starting at €89 a night for a double room with an extra airbed for a friend in need.

TOILETRIES: REN shampoo, shower gel and soap.
INTERNET: Wifi (free)
BREAKFAST: €9, with very good coffee, very good tea, fresh carrot, grape or apple juice depending on the season, homemade bread, butter, fifteen different organic jams, and that’s all. But it’s served all day long.
MINI-BAR: No. The idea is to get you out of your room and meeting new people.
LITTLE LUXURY: The live music and events, organized by Aline Afanoukoé! Cool.
