THE STORY: Welcome to one of the coziest corners in Batignolles! This small slice of paradise aptly named L’Eldorado was brought to life by Élodie and Pierre Moussié alongside Sophie Richard, the trio behind Hôtel Providence. Once inside the lush inner courtyard of this city mansion, dotted with palm trees, hydrangeas, ferns and camellias, the tumult of daily life is a thing of the past! Between these walls, you’ll discover a 1960s ambiance and Victorian decor with lots of chic details that never feel over the top… Starting with the bedrooms upstairs, decorated with floral drapes, lattice-work credenzas and Roaring Twenties sconces, all brightened up by the chirping of birds outside that’ll soon have you feeling without a care in the world. But nothing beats the sublime winter garden or the plant-filled terrace, where you can lounge about as soon as the sun starts to shine – before nibbling on the bourgeois plates by chef Bénédicte Guillon, which are always well executed. Double rooms starting at €160 a night.
