THE STORY: Hoping to give city dwellers a taste of the countryside somewhere between Brussels and Namur, architect and owner Margaux Janssens renovated this old farm in Incourt! What should you expect? Located in the center of a lush green estate, there’s the main house, or corps de logis, that can host up to twelve guests at a time, featuring spacious, stylish common spaces, all done up in shades of white and wooden details, plus bedrooms under the rafters, so you can admire the beautiful exposed wooden beams; a pigeonnier for seven people, with colorful bedrooms and big bathrooms, not to mention the south-facing outdoor banquette; along with a high-altitude-chalet-inspired cabin, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for a romantic getaway. And located along the edge of the property, the permaculture vegetable patch will keep you living in harmony with nature… Cabin starting at €150 a night during the week, €200 on the weekends; pigeonnier €275-375 and main house €650-850 a night (two-night minimum stay during the week).

TOILETRIES: Eco-friendly soap, solid shampoo and conditioner.
BREAKFAST: Head to Régal, the restaurant of the farm located ten minutes away by car (closed from late July to late September), which serves coffee roasted over a wood fire and products from the farm – and even brunch on Sundays! Otherwise, the space’s kitchens allow you to cook up a real breakfast for champions if you’re so inclined.
LITTLE LUXURY: Watching the horses, goats, sheep and chickens that are living their best lives on the farm, before warming up body and soul in the cabin’s private sauna.
