NUMBER OF ROOMS: 12 rooms
ANNUAL CLOSURE: January and February

THE STORY: In the picture-perfect village of Moutiers-au-Perche, the Villa Fol Avril dazzles like never before with its sunny yellow facade. Taken over in 2020 by Daniela and Hugo Raymond (she used to cook at Septime and D’une île, he made craft beer), this hotel/restaurant pampers you from the table to the bedroom! After stopping by the restaurant, which pairs locavore cuisine with living wines, head for one of the dozen bedrooms, furnished according to the same guiding principles: space, light and a few vintage pieces scattered around. From the superior suite (light hardwood floors, floral paintings, a pastel yellow bathroom) to the junior suite (exposed rafters, coconut flooring, brick colored walls), they will all have you wishing you could stay a lifetime… leaving only to for apéro in the garden that’s bursting with roses, views of the Percheron hills and the Corbionne Valley. Double rooms starting at €125 a night.

BREAKFAST: €13 with coffee or tea, hot chocolate, orange or apple juice, bread, viennoiseries, butter, jams, seasonal fruits, yogurt, cheese, ham, etc., all of which is sourced with the local terroir in mind.
TOILETRIES: Artisanal soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, bath salts and body lotion.
LITTLE LUXURY: Floating in the heated pool, which opens in the month of May!
