Welcome to the land of fika! Chef-proprietors Oualid Kiloul and Olya Minck bring the spirit of Scandinavian café culture to this corner building just beyond Antwerp’s ring road. The minimalist interiors flirt with maximalism tendencies (stainless steel, light wood, pastel hues and flashes of candy pink sparkle), in a look every bit as bold as the menu itself. Because here, everything revolves around coffee… and brunch (Aldo sourdough bread, cinnamon buns rolled on-site)… and a small selection of signature dishes: wobbly green omelet; crunchy toast piled with enoki mushrooms, shiitake cream and an avalanche of parmigiano; or toasted brioche topped with Nordic shrimp, dill cream and pleasingly briny fish roe.
