Oh, it’s a coffeeholic’s life! Coffee-obsessed Simon (ex-MOK) and Nanigui Patel (ex-Caffenation) took up residence in this opulent Antwerp townhouse, after colliding (and falling in love) at an AeroPress championship. From the oven to the grinder, the pair not only serve the highest quality coffee beans at Rush Rush – they also roast them too! And they even know each of their producers personally: Camilo Enciso in Colombia, Daye Bensa in Ethiopia, Pedro Garcia in Peru… Savor an espresso or filter coffee with some irreproachable snacks, including a naughty sandwich stuffed with mortadella, farmdal (Flemish farmhouse cheese), homemade jam, mustard, pickles and (a lot) of butter on a sourdough loaf from Album. Don’t forget to grab a slice of the unforgettable cheesecake, which alone is worth the trip, or one of the pastries from Bloemberen. // Maria Pepper

THE HIDDEN GEM: The AeroPress coffee, which sealed this coffee love affair (€5).
