Tastebuds is a canteen with clean lines and contemporary tiling, where, after months of tinkering about and testing, Kevin Heylen (ex-chef at Het Pomphuis) brought to life Flemish street food that’s finger-lickin’ good: smashed burger (patty, vegan cheddar, pickle, mustard); cauliflower wings with ranch sauce; mushroom croquettes; potato or sweet potato fries served with your choice of peanut sauce, spring onions, kroepoek chips and lime, tahini and feta, or pesto, vegan parmesan and sun-dried tomatoes… Death to cows! // Juno Madre
