If life is a box of chocolates, we want one that has the same dizzyingly high proportions as this chocolate shop/atelier, dressed in rough stone, light wood and glass, where the cocoa wizard and master of sweets Jacques Genin makes all of his creations. Choose from each of their dedicated showcases: incredible caramels, available in flavors like coffee, mango-passion fruit, vanilla or ginger; lovely fruit (and vegetable!) jelly candies; and of course, the unparalleled chocolates. Ganache and praliné chocolates can be purchased individually or in a brushed metal tin, with flavors like chestnut honey, tea, or even hazelnut feuilletine. On the weekends or upon special order, there are a few elite pastries that steal the show, including incredible flans and some very indulgent Paris-Brest pastries. // Jean Pascal
