Colombian down to the very last drop of java, Diana Garces (who studied agriculture) brings a little sunshine to dreary Parisian mornings at Los Andes, her tiny but adorable coffee shop, adorned with an azure blue facade, a colorful tiled bar and purple tubular chairs. In addition to these joyful vibes, you can get an outstanding pour-over cup of coffee imported by the barista herself, plus some not-so-classic breakfast options: lattes, cold brew, perhaps a mango matcha latte… Even rarer still are the banana mochas (a banana, coffee and cacao milkshake) and the cascara fresca, a sparkling drink made with dried coffee cherry pulp. Also spotted on the bar near the front door: savory Colombian style cornbread, and vegan, gluten-free banana bread. // Anna Elisabeth
THE HIDDEN GEM: The pandes, those little bread rolls from the Andes made with cassava flour and cheese (€2 each).
