Tomorrow is another day… and Onoul (“today” in Korean) we savor life in this well-stocked coffee shop in the 15th arrondissement. We owe it all to Sun (“Yes, like the one in the sky,” she says in a hushed tone, not wanting to reveal her last name), a former interior designer who converted an old tailoring workshop into a divine épicerie/café (a sober facade, floral tiling), where you can plunge your nose into the shelves of teas, premium soy sauces and dried shiitake mushrooms imported from South Korea, along with a selection of trendy magazines, all while nibbling on a few savory dishes and homemade cakes. Devoured during our last visit there: an iced sesame latte that we would have liked two of to wash down the lunchtime rice bowl (steamed broccoli, carrots and zucchini, diced tofu, peanut sauce), then a slice of plump matcha cake sprinkled with almonds, served hot out of the oven. // Maria Mariaux

THE HIDDEN GEM: The aforementioned iced sesame latte (€4.80).
