The wine shop run by David Mayeux (ex-Lieu de Vin) managed to escape our radar for the last few years… A fervent advocate for living wines, David has filled this former hair salon with 350 carefully chosen bottles, for a compilation primarily made up of French wines, along with a few from Italy and Georgia. Ogle all of the following on the wooden shelves: a savagnin from André-Jean and Héléana Morin (€32), an Ardèche gamay from Hervé Souhaut (€25), a pet’ nat’ rosé from Le Val de Combrès (€22), along with a hard cider from the Côtes-d’Armor by the Cidrerie du Léguer (€12). So many lovely playthings that the owner is happy to uncork for tasting nights (dates and additional info on his Instagram account). // Ana Kirpad

THE BULLET-PROOF BOTTLE: Chaos Suprême Olivia 2020, a Fleurie from Yann Bertrand (€25 a bottle).
