The story: After closing in 2022 for a well-earned facelift, following nearly sixty years of making Pigalle rock, the legendary Bus Palladium is pumping up the jam once again on Rue Pierre-Fontaine! Calling the tune are long-time owner Christian Casmèze and Nicolas Saltiel of hotel group Chapitre Six, with Studio KO on architecture and Caroline de Maigret on creative direction. Now, Paris’s cool crowd can once again dream of wild nights – this time with a bed waiting upstairs. Fancy a backstage tour? The thirty-five rooms have been given a new look, with cork walls, concrete ceilings, powder-pink carpets and long, blue-tinted mirrors, all soundtracked by curated playlists through Ojas speakers. The headline act? The 70 m2 Rock Suite, complete with balcony and all the trappings of a pop star’s private hideaway. And if sleep isn’t yet on the agenda, the hotel stays true to its all-night-long philosophy: the restaurant is open 24/7, the bar keeps things going until the early hours, the intimate rooftop offers a breath of fresh air… and downstairs, the resurrected club is back with live gigs and DJ sets. Sleep, you say? Rooms from €388 a night. · Edgar Enpomaluile

Toiletries: Diptyque shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion.

Breakfast: Chef Valentin Raffali is behind the menu, featuring smoked Banka trout, Bigorre porc noir bacon smoked in-house and eggs Benedict crowned with a savagnin sabayon, alongside hot drinks and breakfast classics.

Little luxury: Blast your favorite track through the speakers, draw the curtains tight and get the party started – or just head downstairs to the basement club. Long live late check-out!
