THE STORY: “It’s a space centered around wellness, where you also happen to sleep,” insists Charlotte Gomez de Orozco. The French-Mexican owner became a yoga teacher after attending hospitality school, and then ended up combining her two passions in one concept: HOY (or “House of Yoga”), the hip hotel that’s all about a 100% healthy lifestyle, with a vegetarian resto , a treatment space, a yoga studio open to all, and “as it happens,” twenty-two rooms arranged according to the principals of feng shui, where natural hardwood floors replace carpeting and a stretching bar replaces the TV! Rooms starting at €180 a night.

TOILETRIES: The Naked Shop hand soap, body wash and shampoo.

BREAKFAST: A plant-based menu (€8-14) with bread, butter, honey and seasonal jams, spiced black bean galettes, oats with hibiscus, chia seeds, lemon yogurt…

LITTLE LUXURY: If only there were just one! Water micro-filtered with binchotan charcoal in the bedrooms, a florist corner with floral arrangement workshops, private yoga classes, customized therapy sessions…
