THE STORY: Say goodbye to the old Avancher, one of the very first hotels in Val d’Isère (1949-2017), and hello to the Avancher Hotel & Lodge! A brand-spanking new and incredibly spacious chalet, rebuilt stone by stone by its young owner. Frédéric Monneret’s stated objective? Affordable prices for individual rooms and hotel apartments that are the height of Alpine coziness (larch wood, stonewalls, sheepskins, lush duvets), with a range of services that will be greatly appreciated by skiers – a spa with both a steam room and a sauna, a game room, reservations for ski equipment and ski passes…. Ranging from €155 to €335 a night for double rooms, plus €32 per person for half-board.
