For Made-in-Grenoble naturalism, this is where it’s at! Located near the covered market, here at Le Zinc (in other words: Ze Independant Natural Cellar) you’ll find over a thousand fanciful wines and/or wines produced without pesticides, that are pulled from out of the giant wine cellar. Taste them seated around the long bar or at a marble table, while nibbling on beautiful small plates: ultra-spreadable green olive tapenade, hummus, tzatziki and crushed peas with mint; cheeky pâté en croûte; elegant foie gras; cheeses and charcuterie sourced from Savoie, Isère and Italy; not to mention the panna cotta with raspberry coulis or the pear-chocolate cake for something sweet afterwards. // O.J.

FEELING THIRSTY? A Sicilian white from Arianna Occhipinti (€5.90 a glass), an orange wine from Radikon near the Slovenian border (€18 a bottle), a Brouilly from Lapalu (€34), a Jura white from Ganevat (€40), Champagne from Jacques Lassaigne (€65)…

PRICE: Tapas €4-20.
