Sbrisolona

Sbrisolona (Paris)

We’ve rediscovered Federica Mancioppi’s sbrisolona! This crumbly almond biscotto served with vanilla mascarpone lends its name to the café/take-away shop from the former pastry chef at Caffè dei Cioppi. She sends out delicious al taglio pizzas to the marbled tables, along with focaccia that’s generously topped with ’nduja, bufala and zucchini (or cream of truffle, stracchino and mortadella), comforting soups (broccoli-basil for example), serious lasagnas and an original pie – made with fennel sausage, mushrooms, mozzarella and oregano! Not to mention the extremely crunchy dessert, her famous dessert from the Lombardy region that’s such a rare thing in Paris. // J.G.

FEELING THIRSTY? There’s wheat beer (€7 for 330 ml), spritz (€6) or a glass of Rosso Piecno from the Marches region (€5) per la bibita.

PRICE: Appetizers €6-12, mains €12-15, desserts €6.
