Unfamiliar with Hellenist eats? Then place your trust in Ioanna Tzeferakou, the owner of this Mouffetard neighborhood tavern with Spartan yet warm décor (a burnt orange bar, cramped tables), who will be happy to guide you. The day we went for lunch, we dug into: a plump pita sandwich filled with feta and vegetables; imam bayildi, which is half an eggplant roasted in the oven and stuffed with fresh tomato, parsley and garlic; delicious briam, a sort of oven-baked ratatouille; before a copious revani, a semolina cake imbibed with honey syrup and served here with organic Greek yogurt. // E.diB.

FEELING THIRSTY? Drinks from Greece: Mythos beer (€3.50 for 330 ml), red wine from Tsantali (€3 a glass) or retsina at €3.50 a glass.

PRICE: Menu 19-27 €.
