THE STORY: From the street, the “Antiquaire” façade doesn’t lead you to suspect that there’s a superb 18th-century building hidden away behind it, where Marion Held set up shop in the year 2000… Nineteen years later, she has transformed it into a B&B, where she welcomes guests to her poetic and refined universe, bringing together English wallpaper, mosaic tiles, old-fashioned tiling, modern pieces and antiques. The décor of the four bedrooms – peaceful, with views of the blossoming courtyard – is particularly well done, and they all have moderncomforts. Not bad for a place that has kept its old-world charm! The cherry on top? Breakfast is served in the greenhouse or the garden, country style!
