Everything might get a little Flou (blurry) after a visit to this neighborhood hangout that’s part bar, part bistro, part disco. Perched on the border of Saint-Michel and Les Capucins, this stylish spot shows off an XL terrace, tiled floors, wooden tables and walls, a hulking Formica bar, stacks of vintage vinyl and Pioneer decks ready to spin. The whole thing was dreamed up by a trio of friends well-known on the culinary-mixology scene: Rihab Hdidou (founder of Salade Tomate Oignon and artistic director of the La Sueur collective), Rémi Rasquin (founder of La Sueur) and Cyril Albert (ex-Mirabelle). The result? A hidden gem where you can sip Campari spritzes (€8), milky Brazilian lemonade (€7), draft beers and natural wines on tap, like P’tit Vaillant, a white from Domaine Les Grandes Vignes (€5 a glass). Pair it all with tasty snacks, like tarragon-laced deviled eggs (€6), pissaladière-style filo bricks (€10) or even textbook roasted chicken (€16). All to the soundtrack of spinning vinyl – the kind that gets feet tapping until the needle jumps. · Hercule Poiré
