Sip, then lick! At their delightfully offbeat Folderol, part ice cream parlor, part wine shop, with scraped-back stone walls and a horseshoe-shaped counter, Jessica Yang and Robert Compagnon (the duo behind Le Rigmarole, Fooding’s Best Restaurant of 2019, and Oobatz, winner of Fooding’s Best Pizza 2025) keep natural wine lovers happily hydrated with bottles from all over, including Bruno et Bert, a côt from Bertjan Mol in Loir-et-Cher, or Rosa, a nero d’avola from Sergio Drago in Sicily. Everything is available to take away or pop open on-site (for an €8 corkage fee), alongside spot-on snacks, like house-made focaccia, Tuscan charcuterie and oozy stracciatella. And for those eager to experiment on ice, there’s a cool selection of house-made ice creams and sorbets, like orange blossom ice cream, orange creamsicle or watermelon and rosé sorbet. One last tip: there’s now a second Folderol on Rue Faidherbe, on the other side of the 11th arrondissement. · Henriette Ma
Drank: Les Croses, a mourvèdre-carignan-syrah rosé from Les Frères Soulier in the Gard (€38).
